The name oeá comes from the Greek word θεά ("thea") which means goddess.

We craft our soaps and candles in Germany. We have a small lakeside studio where we produce everything by hand.

Our soaps are made almost exclusively from organic oils. We do not use palm oil and incorporate a high proportion of shea butter. The subtle fragrance of our soaps comes from natural essential oils.

Commercially available candles are often made of paraffin. Studies indicate that burning paraffin can produce carcinogenic fumes. But not only paraffin can affect the air at home, most scented candles also contain fragrances that can change hormones and cause cancer. Excessive concentrations of scent in candles can cause headaches and shortness of breath and can be particularly harmful to small children and animals.

At oeá we make all our candles from natural soy and rapeseed wax. All candles are scented with natural essential oils in appropriate amounts. We do not use synthetic fragrances.

Our candles are free from paraffin, phthalates and artificial musk compounds.

Yes. All oeá products are vegan and free from animal testing.

Our soaps are made without palm oil and contain a high percentage of shea butter, which makes them softer than other soaps. To keep them longer, you should always store them somewhere where they can dry. Make sure your soap dish isn't collecting water and clean it whenever you see residue on the dish.

To ensure that your candle lasts as long as possible, there are a few things to keep in mind: Trim the wick before each lighting. Make sure your candle burns for at least 2 hours the first time you light it. This ensures that no tunneling occurs. Do not burn your candle for more than 4 hours at a time, allowing the wax to cool before relighting. Remove any residue (wick/debris) from the wax.

oeá sends to Germany and the EU. The shipping costs to the EU are significantly more expensive. Since we are a small company, we can't offer better conditions yet, but we're working on it :)

If your product arrived damaged, please contact us as soon as possible and send us a picture of the damaged product (hello@oea-shop.com).
